Robot Luggage Follows You Anywhere
A design concept from Peter Yeadon of Rhode Island School of Design.
Fido is obedient and loyal luggage. The owner wears a wrist strap with a radio beacon for the robot. The 4-wheel suitcase will follow behind you and has gyro navigation and collision avoidance sensors to allow it to keep up with you even in crowded airports.
The batteries can be recharged by plugging into an outlet or if you need to charge it in a hurry, you can pull it on a leash and let the spinning wheels charge it up.
If it wanders off or gets on the wrong flight you can track it down with its internal GPS receiver.
